I have never been more frightened than that one time on a Boeing-737. Standard flight, to Florida, and i'm just chilling when the pilot comes on the intercom, but it seems to be a mistake. He's just talking to his copilot, seemingly oblivious to the fact the intercom is on. This was rather funny, until we hear the pilot scream. "Oh my god!! The fuel light's blinking!!!" And the plane immediately goes into a state of panic. People running and screaming, the pilots freaking out, until the pilot realized "Oh wait, that's the intercom light." Meanwhile, i was frozen in my chair, just accepting it. So yeah, that was terrifying.
